The events of 2020 impacted organizations worldwide, and that includes RGA Asia. A year that started off with significant business challenges was made even more challenging by a global pandemic, but these hurdles didn’t slow our ability to deliver innovation and value to clients. RGA Asia’s remarkable success this past year, yet again, can be attributed to the dedicated, knowledgeable teams we have built in the region, and across the global RGA network.

At RGA, we believe that the choices we make today will have significant consequences for years and decades to come. The COVID-19 crisis represented an opportunity to focus on nurturing a flexible, compassionate, and diverse culture at the workplace. A crucial element of such a culture is equal opportunity for all workforce members, which is why diversity and inclusion of people from all backgrounds is an important component of our talent acquisition strategy.

Insurance executives with a deep understanding of the individual Asian markets are hard to find, but in 2020 we were fortunate to strengthen our team with four talented senior leaders.

They bring years of experience and diverse perspectives to their work and share a common mission: to create long-term value for our stakeholders. I look forward to what we will achieve together.

While we work with clients to overcome COVID-19's challenges and look to build a stronger industry post-pandemic, RGA Asia’s internal focus will remain on building our bench strength, fostering our unique workplace culture, and keeping our highly successful business growing.
