In January 2021, I proudly joined RGA as the Head of U.S. and Latin American Markets. My entire 33-year career has been spent in the insurance industry, and I am passionate about the vital role insurance plays in people’s lives. Having a leadership position at this remarkable company provides an ideal opportunity to help move the industry forward, and I am excited about what we are going to build together.
I am determined to leverage my decades of experience on the direct side of the business to help strengthen the partnerships between RGA and our carrier clients in the U.S. and Latin America as we work through industry challenges and embrace the future together. Our focus areas moving forward include:
- Developing new solutions and enhancing existing products to bolster our portfolio of client offerings to ensure we provide the greatest value to our partners.
- Advancing our pioneering efforts around the evolution of underwriting to respond to client needs in this foundational area.
- Aligning with clients to tackle the rapid acceleration of the industry, anticipating its implications, and identifying new opportunities presented by the changes.

The COVID-19 crisis highlighted the important role of the insurance industry in providing financial security for families in the face of uncertainty, and RGA certainly advanced this noble purpose in 2020. I look forward to what we are going to accomplish in the years ahead.
