RGA Canada continued to enhance our client engagement framework in 2020, which was designed to deepen our strategic understanding of clients’ business needs and maintain focus on innovative products and solutions.

How we use the framework evolves every year and contributes to success across all business lines with the delivery of impactful client services. The relationship-focused, goal-oriented approach to doing business consists of key elements covering every aspect of the solution delivery process.

It starts with the foundation of knowing the insurance and reinsurance markets, as well as following and identifying market trends. We also build strong relationships with key clients and get to know their businesses so we can respond to their unique needs. Next, we identify key opportunities and business initiatives to pursue in order to bring the most value to our client partners. The development process concludes with delivering a solution and monitoring success to leverage our learnings and implement improvements.

The built-in flexibility of the process allows RGA and our clients to adapt to market changes and customize solutions to meet specific needs.

In 2020, this flexibility was essential amid massive market disruption from the pandemic. At the same time, it served as a source of stability for RGA and our clients as a proven approach to doing business efficiently and effectively – a roadmap to help navigate the dynamic industry environment.
